DIGITALE SKIZZEN IM BUCH | 2016
I carry my smartphone like a sketchbook. When something captures my attention, it takes less than five seconds for me to start finding the right angle, the appropriate distance, or the perfect moment to take a picture with my smartphone. This occurrence happens almost daily, making it a somewhat routine activity. It happens effortlessly, without much thought.
Beyond the convenience of always having a camera at hand, the smartphone also functions as a capable computer with sufficient processing power to edit image files seamlessly. The available apps provide almost the same flexibility as Photoshop. Consequently, I often find myself editing the photos I have taken, whether I am on the subway, in a waiting room, or wherever I have the time and inclination.
A selection of these works, created over a span of two years, has taken on a new form in this book.
